Raw milk is the principal material from which a wide variety of dairy products are made: pasteurised milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, etc.

Steam is used either for indirect heating or direct heating, in a variety of processes in order to induce chemical reactions as well as physical changes in raw milk. Further, it is also used to ensure clean and sterile conditions.

It is vital that in all of these processes high quality steam is available at the correct temperature and pressure so that efficient production of high-grade dairy products is ensured.
